Know Your Dacor
We service Dacor across its lineup: the Contemporary and Professional gas and dual-fuel ranges, rangetops and cooktops, the wall ovens including the newer smart models, and Dacor column refrigerators and freezers. Dacor ovens can post fault codes that point to a sensor or relay, which gives a technician a starting point, while the gas components are diagnosed by symptom and test.
Burners and Ignition
As with any pro-style range, the most common Dacor complaint is a burner that clicks slowly or lights late, usually from spillover fouling the igniter or burner ports. Clean and dry the caps and ports, reseat the caps, and confirm crisp ignition. If a burner still will not light once clean, the spark igniter or module is the next check.

Ovens and Controls
Dacor wall ovens rely on a healthy temperature sensor and door seal for even baking. A sensor that has drifted out of range causes overshooting or undershooting and can post a fault code, and a worn gasket produces uneven heat. On gas Dacor ovens, a weakening bake igniter that glows but no longer opens the gas valve is a common no-heat cause. Each is a standard OEM repair.
Refrigeration
Dacor column refrigerators follow the same care as any premium built-in: keep the condenser clean, check the seals, and act on a warm interior early. A dust-choked condenser is a frequent and easily corrected cause of cooling loss.
